Stink Bug Families
As a family that has been though the pain of childhood cancer, we know it might sound crazy to introduce a dog into a household when a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. But dogs have been proven to lower stress for patients and caregivers and we think that finding the perfect best friend during this stressful time can make a huge difference. We also will seek out ways to help siblings also find an outlet to process the pain and loneliness of having a brother or sister who is diagnosed with a life-threatening disease.
